A program to train young imams has been launched under the initiative of Sh. Maungoodhoo Council. This is a program specifically conducted for the youth of Maungoodhoo to instill love for religious matters. The program commenced on the night of January 29, 2025, at Masjid-ul-Raheem with a total of 10 participants. The program is being taught by Sh. Maungoodhoo's imams, Al-Fadhil Ibrahim Saleem and Al-Fadhil Ahmed Nashid.
